Maker Camp Designs
Beginning in 2019 I have been responsible for creating the graphic identity illustration for Virginia Tech Maker Camp. Maker Camp is a weeklong creative technology summer camp for children where they combine materials like cardboard and custom built electronics to complete that year’s themed challenge. Each illustration is created in a black and white vector to allow it to be used for etchings, prints, and team shirt.

Maker Camp 2019 illustration in use.
The first sketch of the 2019 Maker Camp illustration was made during a brainstorming session with Scott Fralin, Max Ofsa, and Sara Sweeney Bear.
Scott Fralin and Max Ofsa used the design to laser-engrave cardboard signs for the event.
The design served as the backdrop on the Moss Arts Center stage during the 2019 event.
